Travel Speech Language Pathologist - $2,268 per week

About the role

Travel Speech Language Pathologist assignment in Hamlet, North Carolina. Start date: 11/23/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Full-time, 40 hours per week (8-hour shifts). Employment type: Travel.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring treatment for speech, hearing, and/or language deficits.
• Teach patients how to make sounds, improve their voices, or increase oral or written language skills to communicate more effectively.
• Teach individuals how to strengthen muscles or use compensatory strategies to swallow without choking or inhaling food or liquid.
• Provide skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan for, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
• Set realistic and achievable goals for patients to develop or recover reliable communication and swallowing skills so they can fulfill educational, vocational, and social roles.

Requirements

• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or actively in the application process for current state licensure.
• At least one year of professional working experience.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must hold CCCs (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
• Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility.
