About the role
TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a position in Boston, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
- Contract Guarantee hours= 72 Hours Biweekly on all Assignments – these guaranteed hours do not include any “on-call” time worked
- BILH Coversheet filled out and in all submissions.
- SLP, BIDMC, 8H Days, MUST have 4-5 years experience, level 1 trauma center experience, experience with acute trachs and vents, Fully competent in either MBS or FEES, EPIC experience required.
- The inpatient team is at an acute Level 1 Trauma center and Joint Commission comprehensive stroke center.
- BIDMC receives multiple med flights every day, bringing in highly complex acutely ill patients from areas all over.
- Need High level acute inpatient experience NOT INPATIENT REHAB. Medically complex.
- Must have ASHA (American Speech and Hearing Association) certification and an active MA license.
Requirements
- Ideal candidate should be competent in conducting modified barium swallow studies (there is no official certification).
- Must be separated from BILH for 6 months to be considered (perm, per diem, contract).
- No locals.
Qualifications
- Active MA license.
- ASHA (American Speech and Hearing Association) certification.
- 4-5 years experience.
- Level 1 trauma center experience.
- Experience with acute trachs and vents.
- Competent in either MBS or FEES.
- EPIC experience required.
