Travel Speech Language Pathologist - $2,245 per week

About the role

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13‑week assignment in Rome, Georgia. The position requires 40 hours per week on 8‑hour day shifts, starting October 19, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create treatment and therapy plans to suit the individualized needs of a diverse patient population.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and causes, including disabilities and traumatic events.
• Report progress and current status to appropriate parties (family, teachers, medical professionals).
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience (1 year preferred); new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Current BLS certification and ASHA‑SLP National Certification with state‑specific licensing.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning the assignment.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
