About the Role
ProLink Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Petersburg, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Assess physician referrals, patient conditions, and medical histories to determine therapy needs
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, re-evaluations, and develop treatment and discharge plans
- Administer prescribed speech language pathology treatments (addressing verbal and written language) tailored to individual patient needs (including voice articulation, fluency, swallowing, auditory and visual processing, as well as memory and cognition)
- Adjust treatment goals and plans as necessary, collaborating with healthcare team members and participating in patient care conferences
Requirements
- Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in VA required
- BLS, Certificate of Clinical Competence Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) required
- MBS experience required
- FEES experience preferred
- 2 years' experience in equivalent setting preferred
- NO LOCAL CANDIDATES (no candidates within 50-mile radius)
Schedule
- 8-Hr DAYS, 8a-4:30p
- No call
- 40 hours per week
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: 09/28/2026
Additional Details
- Patient population: Young adult to geriatric
- Approx. 8-10 plus patient follow ups
- EKG Exam NOT required
- ITO interviews, Manager may conduct 2nd interview
