Travel Speech Language Pathologist - $2,195 per week

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 17‑week assignment in Rutland, Vermont. The position requires 35 hours per week (7‑hour shifts, days) and is an immediate travel opening.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with speech, voice, or swallowing impairments.
• Evaluate and develop plans of care for diverse patient populations in an acute care setting.
• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create individualized treatment and therapy plans.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and related causes, including disabilities and traumatic events.
• Report progress and current status to appropriate parties (family, teachers, medical professionals).
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience as a Speech‑Language Pathologist; 1 year preferred, with consideration for exceptional candidates with 6 months.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Current BLS certification.
• ASHA‑SLP National Certification.
• Valid state‑specific SLP license.
