Travel Speech Language Pathologist - $2,165 per week

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech therapy services, including evaluation and treatment, to patients ranging from pediatric to older adults based on diagnosed conditions. This is a 13-week contract assignment in San Marcos, TX.

About the Role

This temporary travel position offers a 5x8 days shift (40 hours per week) and is ideal for a Speech Language Pathologist looking to work in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to maximize speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
• Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisors and team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records.
• Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements.
• Handle job responsibilities in line with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct, Corporate Compliance Agreement, and applicable professional standards and laws.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Graduate of a master’s-level program in Speech Language Pathology accredited by the Education Standards Board or meeting ASHA certification requirements.
• Must possess independent decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
• Compassionate, detail-oriented, and sensitive with strong critical thinking and emergency response skills.
• At least 2 years of SLP experience.

Pay
