About the role
We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide evaluation and treatment for patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in an outpatient hospital-based setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical assessment skills, develop individualized treatment plans, and work collaboratively with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide speech and swallowing therapy based on patient needs.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
- Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
- Educate patients and families on therapy goals and home programs.
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Oklahoma Speech-Language Pathology License.
- Current BLS Certification (AHA).
- Outpatient hospital-based experience required (acute care experience may be considered).
- Strong communication, clinical assessment, and documentation skills.
