Travel Speech Language Pathologist - $2,142 per week

Centra Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a contract assignment in Grandview, Missouri.

About the role

A great SNF / LTC facility is looking for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join their growing team. This is a 13-week contract position with a days schedule, 8-hour shifts, and 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility and accountability for incorporating the organization’s vision, values, mission, and critical goals into job performance.
• Work within an interdisciplinary team to develop a plan of care for each patient.
• Provide skilled speech therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan for, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
• Set realistic and achievable goals for patients to develop or recover reliable communication and swallowing skills so patients can fulfill their educational, vocational, and social roles.

Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited school.
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist or proactively in the process of obtaining licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must be an SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology).

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
