Travel Speech Language Pathologist - $2,134 per week

MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission‑certified staffing agency, is seeking a quality Speech Language Pathologist for an assignment with one of its top healthcare clients in Roseburg, Oregon. Start date: December 12, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Schedule: 40 hours per week, 8‑hour shifts. Employment type: Travel.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring treatment for speech, hearing, and/or language deficits.
• Teach patients how to make sounds, improve their voices, or increase oral or written language skills to communicate more effectively.
• Teach individuals how to strengthen muscles or use compensatory strategies to swallow without choking or inhaling food or liquid.
• Provide skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
• Set realistic and achievable goals for patients to develop or recover reliable communication and swallowing skills so they can fulfill educational, vocational, and social roles.

Requirements

• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or actively in the process of obtaining licensure.
• Minimum of one year of professional working experience.
• Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology.
• Current CPR certification.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech‑Language Pathology.
• Additional requirements may be specified by the client facility.
