Travel Speech Language Pathologist - $2,120 per week

Research Medical Center is a Level I Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center located in Kansas City, Missouri. This facility treats a diverse patient population and offers therapists the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a broad range of clinical diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in Acute Care and Inpatient Rehabilitation settings
• Perform bedside swallow evaluations
• Provide speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapy services
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Complete documentation using Meditech EMR
• Float between Acute Care and Rehab units as needed

Requirements

• Current Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the State of Missouri
• Experience performing bedside swallow evaluations
• Ability to work effectively in a hospital setting

Qualifications

• Preferred: Experience with video fluoroscopic swallow studies (Modified Barium Swallow Studies)
• Preferred: Acute Care and/or Inpatient Rehabilitation experience
• Preferred: Experience working in trauma or stroke populations

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; rotating weekends preferred but flexible
