About the role

We are seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Lake City, FL. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by improving patients' communication and swallowing abilities in a skilled nursing setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' communication needs and swallowing needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapy to improve speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques
• Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Implement interventions in various settings, including outpatient, acute care, and skilled nursing facilities
• Participate in discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care for continued support

Requirements

• A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• FL licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist

Pay

$2,053.72 - $2,117.24 per week

Schedule

• 13-week assignment
• Day shift, 5x8 hours (up to 40 hours per week)
• On-site at a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
