About the role
LanceSoft is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a position in Douglasville, Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech language pathology services in an acute care setting.
- Perform Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies as required.
- Assess and communicate with patients regarding their speech and swallowing conditions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of Speech Language Pathologist experience.
- Experience working in acute care/hospitals.
- Experience performing Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies.
- Fees certification preferred.
- Current Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license/certification.
- BLS certification required.
- Strong assessment, communication, and swallowing therapy skills.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited program in Speech Language Pathology.
- Passing score on the Praxis II exam (if applicable).
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of various swallowing disorders and treatment options.
