Travel Speech Language Pathologist - $2,001 per week

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13‑week assignment in Augusta, Georgia. The position requires 40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts, and is a travel employment type. The facility has 28 beds and a therapy team comprising 4 PTs, 1 PTA, 4 OTs, 2 COTAs, 2 techs, plus PRN staff. There is no floating area requirement and the dress code is black scrubs.

Responsibilities

• Perform bedside swallow exams
• Administer Vital Stim therapy
• Conduct Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS)
• Manage patient caseload per unit ratios (PT/OT 4‑6 per day; SLP 6‑8 per day, 30‑45 minute sessions)

Qualifications

• Current Georgia state license for Speech Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• Experience with MBSS, dysphagia management, cognitive assessment and treatment, stroke rehabilitation

Skills

• Preferred: Vital Stim, FEES, TBI experience
• Equipment familiarity: Vital Stim, Bioness, Pneuvest, BITS visual and cognitive program
• EMR proficiency: Meditech
