Travel Speech Language Pathologist - $1,930 per week

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech therapy services, including evaluation and treatment, to patients ranging from pediatric to older adults based on diagnosed conditions. This is a 13-week contract assignment with day shifts.

About the Role

This is a travel position located in Albert Lea, Minnesota. The role involves working 40 hours per week for a duration of 13 weeks, with 8-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to maximize speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
• Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisors and team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records.
• Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements.
• Handle job responsibilities in line with the company’s Code of Business Conduct, Corporate Compliance Agreement, and applicable professional standards and laws.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Graduate of a master’s level program in Speech Language Pathology accredited by the Education Standards Board or whose practice meets ASHA certification requirements.
• Must possess independent decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
• Compassionate, sensitive, and detail-oriented with strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety.
• Critical thinker and quick to act in emergencies.
• At least 2 years of SLP experience.

Pay

Pay depends on location and experience, with a competitive package offered. The pay package includes an 8-hour shift and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
