Travel Speech Language Pathologist - $1,870 per week
Job Summary
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in inpatient care is needed for treatment at a healthcare facility located in Bardstown, Kentucky. This position involves providing speech therapy services within a post-acute setting, covering a broad geographic territory across multiple counties.
Required Qualifications
- Kentucky licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP credential via ASHA)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience
- Home health experience
Preferred/Additional Qualifications
- Experience with inpatient and home health settings
- Familiarity with the Homecare Homebase (HCHB) electronic medical record system
Department-specific Orientation
2 weeks with a work coach
Cancellation Policy
Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts within a 13-week assignment, or 3 shifts for shorter durations

- Candidate must have KY license in hand prior to submission; license cannot be pending

- Clinical responsibilities include managing patients with diagnoses such as CVA/Aphasia within various post-acute environments, including acute inpatient, outpatient, and skilled facilities

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
