Job Summary
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in inpatient care is needed at a healthcare facility located in Walterboro, South Carolina. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing speech therapy services in both inpatient rehabilitation and acute hospital settings.

- BLS certification
- CCC-SLP certification
- Experience with Modified Barium Swallow Study (MBSS)
- Experience working in an acute hospital setting
- Proficiency with Meditech electronic medical record system
Preferred Qualifications
- FEES (Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing) certification
- Experience with FEES procedures
Responsibilities
- Conducting speech therapy assessments and treatments for patients in rehabilitation and acute care units, including procedures such as MBSS and FEES
- Documenting patient progress in Meditech
Additional Information
This position involves floating between a 14-bed rehabilitation unit and a 135-bed acute care hospital that includes a 7-bed intensive care unit. Familiarity with hospital equipment and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
