Travel Speech-Language Pathologist - $1,752 per week

About the role

Pioneer Healthcare Services is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Ewing Township, New Jersey. This full-time, on-site position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by assessing and treating patients' communication and swallowing needs in a skilled nursing facility setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' communication needs and swallowing needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapy to improve speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques
• Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Implement interventions in various settings, including outpatient, acute care, and skilled nursing facilities
• Participate in discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care for continued support

Requirements

• A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• NJ licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist

Pay

$1,725.74 - $1,779.11 per week

Schedule

• 13-week assignment
• Day shift, 8 hours per day, up to 40 hours per week
