About the Role
We currently have a client in Rose City, MI looking for a traveling Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech therapy services, including evaluation and treatment to patients ranging from pediatric to older adults based on diagnosed conditions. This is a 13-week contract assignment.
Responsibilities
- Provide therapy to maximize speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
- Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisors and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records.
- Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements.
- Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standards, and applicable state/federal laws.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Graduate of a master’s level program in Speech Language Pathology accredited by the Education Standards Board or whose practice meets ASHA certification requirements.
- Must possess independent decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
- Compassionate, sensitive, and detail-oriented with strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety.
- Critical thinker and fast to act in emergencies.
- At least 2 years of SLP experience.

Pay
Pay depends on location and experience. Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
