Travel Speech Language Pathologist - $1,680 per week

About the role

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Hagerstown, Maryland. The position offers 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and is available immediately.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create treatment and therapy plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Perform screenings to identify voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and their families about speech disorders and related conditions.
• Report progress and current status to relevant parties, such as family members, teachers, or medical professionals.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation according to state and/or insurance guidelines.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• BLS certification and ASHA-SLP National Certification with state-specific licensing.
• A strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, as well as bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.

Pay and Schedule

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
