About the role

The role is on-site at a skilled nursing facility, with a schedule of 5 days a week, 8-hour day shifts, totaling up to 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' communication needs and swallowing needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy to improve speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and families on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques
- Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Implement interventions in various settings, including outpatient, acute care, and skilled nursing facilities
- Participate in discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care for continued support
Requirements
- A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- FL licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Pay
$1,371.20 - $1,413.61 per week
