About the role

The position involves providing instruction to students with mild/moderate disabilities in a school setting. The teacher will work closely with a team of educators and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).

Responsibilities

• Teach students with mild/moderate disabilities according to their IEPs.
• Collaborate with other special education teachers, classroom teachers, and related service providers to ensure comprehensive support for students.
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in special education or a related field.
• State special education teaching certification.

Qualifications
