About the role

The position involves teaching special education students in a school setting. The teacher will work closely with a team of educators and administrators to provide individualized instruction and support.

Responsibilities

• Teach students with special needs according to curriculum guidelines
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with other professionals to assess and address student needs
• Provide therapeutic interventions as necessary
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences and meetings
• Adapt lesson plans to meet the diverse learning needs of students

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Special Education Teaching Endorsement
