Responsibilities

• Performs appropriate diagnostic procedures
• Records patient test results and reports results
• Maintains patient comfort and safety during tests
• Alerts physicians to abnormalities or changes in patient responses
• Maintains adequate supplies and verifies equipment is in proper working condition
• Reports deficiencies and failures
• Selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately
• Ensures compliance with regulatory agency standards
• Ensures prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS
• Ensures image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history
• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of department including procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area and other areas in department
