Travel Sonographer - $2,187 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a travel Echo Technologist for a position in Jackson, Tennessee. The assignment starts October 26, 2026, lasts 6 weeks, and requires 40 hours per week on 4x10‑hour day shifts (Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM). The role is based in a cardiovascular surgery clinic serving an adult patient population.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms

• Perform vascular ultrasounds, including lower extremity arterial/venous and carotid studies
• Operate GE and Philips ultrasound equipment
• Work in a cardiovascular surgery clinic setting with adult patients

Requirements

• Minimum 1‑2 years of experience in echocardiography
• BLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience within the last 12‑18 months, documented on profile; must pass Epic competency exam with only one attempt allowed
• Active compact or Tennessee license required if applicable
• Two supervisory references required for consideration

Qualifications

• RDCS or RCS certification from ARDMS or CCI required
• RVT credential preferred

Pay

Pay package is based on 10‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

4x10‑hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM; 40 hours per week; days shift; no weekends or holidays required; no on‑call requirements.
