Travel Social Work - Licensed Clinical Social Worker - $2,326 per week

About the role

Social Worker Care Coordinator focused on discharge planning at UMMC University Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi. This is a 13-week travel assignment working Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour day shifts.

Schedule

• Shift: 5x8 Days, Monday–Friday
• Schedule options: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Start Date: August 31, 2026 (or end of month)
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 40 hours per week

Requirements

• Active LMSW or LCSW license required
• Active Mississippi license required at submission – MS licensing is currently running approximately 7+ weeks, so candidates must already hold an active MS license
• Travel experience required
• Minimum 3 years of experience working in a Level I Trauma Hospital with 500+ beds
• Minimum 2 years of acute inpatient medical case management experience
• Must have at least 1 year within the last 3 years working in a large, busy hospital (500+ beds), Level I Trauma or Academic Medical Center
• Strong acute inpatient case management and discharge planning experience required

Facility / Workload

• UMMC is a 700+ bed, Level I Trauma Academic Medical Center
• Large and busy hospital environment
• Caseload: Approximately 15–20 patients/consults per day
• Hiring manager is seeking highly experienced candidates with strong acute inpatient case management and discharge planning backgrounds

Pay

$2,326 per week
