Travel SLP - $2,506 per week

Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a travel assignment at a Skilled Nursing Facility in Seaford, Delaware. This 13-week contract offers a full-time day schedule and focuses on adult and geriatric rehabilitation, including communication, cognition, swallowing, and overall independence.

About the Role

• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting
• 13-week travel assignment (20 weeks total duration)
• Full-time, 40 hours per week (8-hour day shifts)
• Adult and geriatric patient population with a rehab-focused caseload
• Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
• Collaborate with physical therapy, occupational therapy, nursing, and the interdisciplinary care team

Responsibilities

• Complete speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations
• Develop individualized treatment plans and functional goals
• Provide treatment for dysphagia and swallowing disorders
• Address cognitive-communication, memory, problem-solving, and safety awareness
• Treat speech and language impairments as appropriate
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers
• Make diet and swallowing-safety recommendations
• Collaborate with nursing, PT, OT, physicians, dietary, and other care team members
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
• Current Delaware SLP license or ability to obtain prior to start
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), if required by the facility
• Current BLS certification
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
• Comfortable evaluating and treating adult and geriatric patients
• Experience with dysphagia and cognitive-communication treatment preferred
• SNF or geriatric rehabilitation experience preferred
• Strong communication and interdisciplinary teamwork skills
