Travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,936 per week

About the role

A Travel Physical Therapy Assistant is needed in Hollister, CA. This Physical Therapy Assistant assignment is for 13 weeks and the setting is Skilled Nursing. Mixture of inpatient and outpatient.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises and activities to improve mobility and strength.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.

Requirements

• Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a physical therapy assistant program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
