Travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,790 per week

About the role

CoreMedical Group is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week contract starting August 10, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises and activities to improve their mobility and strength.
• Document patient progress and treatment plans in medical records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in California.
• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
• Experience in SNF or similar settings preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel within California.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. The estimated weekly payment includes hourly wages, meal and incidental expenses, and housing expenses incurred on behalf of the company. Benefits start day 1 and include medical, dental, and vision insurance.
