This is a travel assignment for a Physical Therapy Assistant position in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
- Perform therapeutic exercises and treatments
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Louisiana
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field
- Experience in SNF settings preferred
- Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Skills
- Proficiency in computer software for documentation
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
