Pioneer Healthcare Services is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Lakewood, New Jersey. The position is a travel role, starting ASAP, lasting 13 weeks, with 40 hours per week on day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing personalized treatment plans developed by physical therapists
• Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patient function and mobility
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising physical therapist
• Educate patients and families on exercise techniques and safety measures
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient sessions and progress
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care
• Support discharge planning and facilitate continuity of care as needed

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited PTA program
• Completion of National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
• NJ PTA licensure/certification
• First Aid Certifications (BLS) strongly recommended

Pay

$1,453.29 - $1,498.24 per week. Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

40 hours per week, day shifts (8 hours, 5×8). Start date: ASAP. Assignment length: 13 weeks.
