Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13‑week contract in Tampa Bay, Florida. The position is with Blue Palms Health & Rehabilitation Center (Tampa, FL) partnered with Quality Rehab Management. You will work with an adult and geriatric population in an SNF setting, helping restore mobility, function, and independence alongside physical therapists and an interdisciplinary care team. Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, assisting with therapeutic exercises and functional mobility training, monitoring progress, educating patients and caregivers, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with nursing staff. Tampa offers warm weather year‑round, Gulf Coast beaches, professional sports, waterfront dining, and outdoor activities such as Clearwater Beach, St. Pete, Ybor City, and the Tampa Riverwalk.
Responsibilities
- Carry out treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and functional mobility
- Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the therapy team
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safety techniques
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
