Travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,424 per week

Critical Connection, Inc is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant to deliver hands-on care to patients recovering in a skilled nursing environment in Peoria, Illinois.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week travel assignment. This role is perfect for clinicians who enjoy functional mobility, gait training, and patient interaction. New Grad PTAs are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled PT treatments under the supervision of a PT
• Assist patients with mobility, strength, balance, and transfers
• Monitor patient response and communicate progress to PT
• Document treatments accurately and timely

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited PTA program
• Active (or pending) state PTA license
• SNF experience preferred, not required

Pay

Competitive weekly pay package based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), including a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

• 13-week assignment starting 08/24/2026
• 40 hours per week
• 8-hour day shifts (07:00–15:00)
