About the role
Pioneer Healthcare Services is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting in Dickson, Tennessee.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing personalized treatment plans developed by physical therapists
- Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patient function and mobility
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising physical therapist
- Educate patients and families on exercise techniques and safety measures
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient sessions and progress
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care
- Support discharge planning and facilitate continuity of care as needed
Qualifications
- Completion of accredited PTA program
- Completion of National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
- TN PTA licensure/certification
- First Aid Certifications (BLS) strongly recommended
Pay & Schedule
- Weekly pay: $1,320.78 - $1,361.63
- Assignment length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day 5x8 (up to 40.00 hours per week)
