About the role
The successful candidate will provide physical therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessment
- Perform therapeutic exercises to improve strength, flexibility, and mobility
- Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care
- Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately
Requirements
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- At least one year of recent relevant clinical experience
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in using medical software and documentation systems
- Knowledge of common physical therapy modalities
- Ability to adapt to different patient populations and settings
