Travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapist - $2,016 per week

Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in North Tampa, Florida. Start date: 09/28/2026.

About the Role

This opportunity allows you to work with an adult and geriatric patient population in a skilled nursing setting, helping patients improve mobility, strength, balance, safety, and overall functional independence. The role is ideal for a PT who enjoys working with medically complex patients and collaborating with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.

• 13-week travel contract
• Full-time schedule (40 hours per week)
• 8-hour day shifts
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Collaborative rehabilitation team environment

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and reassessments
• Develop individualized plans of care based on each patient’s functional goals
• Provide therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance training, transfer training, and mobility interventions
• Treat patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, surgery, hospitalization, and general deconditioning
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on mobility, safety, assistive devices, and home exercise programs
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, OT, SLP, case management, and other members of the care team
• Complete timely documentation, progress notes, and discharge recommendations

Requirements

• Florida PT license required
• BLS certification required
• Skilled nursing experience preferred
