Travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Occupational Therapist - $2,206 per week

About the role

A Travel Occupational Therapist is needed in Cedar Rapids, IA. This assignment is for 13 weeks and the setting is Skilled Nursing. Pay of $2206 may be adjusted based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting.
• Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to promote functional independence.
• Document patient progress and communicate with interdisciplinary teams.

Requirements

• Current license to practice occupational therapy in the state of Iowa.
• Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
• At least one year of recent, relevant work experience in a skilled nursing facility setting.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of occupational therapy principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR).

Skills

• Skilled in assessing and treating patients with various conditions.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid regulations.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
