About the Role
Travel position in a skilled nursing facility, assisting patients in regaining daily living skills under OT supervision. Work involves therapeutic modalities and ADL training in post-acute and long-term care settings.
Responsibilities
- Implement care plans and support patient recovery
- Assist patients in regaining daily living skills under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Utilize therapeutic modalities and ADL training
- Work collaboratively with licensed OT staff in a skilled nursing facility
Requirements
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active Texas COTA license
- BLS certification
- Prior experience in skilled nursing facilities
- Experience with electronic medical records and travel assignments is preferred
