Travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - $1,503 per week

Ardor Health Solutions, in partnership with Northern Cardinal Rehabilitation & Nursing and Quality Rehab Management, is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist (OT) for a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) assignment in Suffolk, Virginia. The position focuses on adult and geriatric populations, aiming to restore independence, improve functional abilities, and enhance quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Perform OT evaluations and reassessments for residents.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing ADLs, self‑care, upper extremity function, cognition, and safety awareness.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
• Collaborate with physical therapists, speech‑language pathologists, nursing staff, and physicians.
• Complete timely documentation and progress reports.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment strategies and safety techniques.

Requirements

• Current Virginia Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (preferred).
• Ability to work with adult and geriatric populations.
