About the role
Modern Healthcare Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN SICU – Surgical Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Columbus, Ohio.
Responsibilities
- Management of External Ventricular Drains
- ICP Monitoring
- Massive Transfusion Protocol
- Mechanical Ventilation
- Heated High Flow, Bipap and CPAP
- Tracheostomy Management
- Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)
- Titration of Vasopressors
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required
- EPIC experience required
- Oncology experience preferred, but not required
Certifications Required
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS
Patient Demographics & Diagnoses
- Focus on adult patients
- Hemorrhagic shock
- Hypovolemic shock
- Sepsis
- Septic shock
- Pneumonia
- ARDS
- Craniotomy
- Ischemic stroke
- Hemorrhagic stroke
- Intracranial hypertension
- Delirium
Schedule
- 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts, rotating
- 12-Hour Shifts (Nights) – 3 times a week
- Rotating shifts based on department needs
Parking
- Agency staff can purchase parking permits through the designated service with various options, including:
- WMC Agency Permit: 24/7 access to the Wexner Medical Center Garage
- WB Permit: Weekend and holiday access with shuttle service provided
- CXS Permit: Weekend and holiday access to specified garages
- Parking costs and options are subject to change per the parking policy.
