Responsibilities

• Provide intensive care in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) covering trauma, GI surgery, Ortho/Neuro Spine procedures, transplants, vascular, Surgical ENT, and General Surgery
• Work in a Level 1 Adult & Pediatric Trauma center, Teaching Hospital, Magnet facility
• Deliver patient- and family-centered care in a collaborative environment with access to leading-edge technology and a multidisciplinary team

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with ICU and SICU (surgical) experience
• 2 years of experience
• Current nursing licensure (Compact Accepted)
• SSN Required
• DOB Required
• 1 Reference in the last 12 months
• Recent specifically Surgical ICU experience, preferably in a Level 1 or 2 Trauma
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Critical Care Certification
• Trauma course
• Travel contract experience
• EPIC
