About the role
LanceSoft is seeking a School Services Speech Language Pathologist Assistant for a travel job in Spanaway, Washington.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech language therapy services to students in a school setting.
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Document all sessions and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
- Must hold an SLPA license in Washington State.
- Must be available to work 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day.
- Must be available to work at Naches Trail Elementary and Naches Trail Preschool.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Current license to practice as an SLPA in Washington State.
- Experience working with children in a school setting.
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
