About the role

LanceSoft is seeking a School Services Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Spanaway, Washington.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to students in K-12th grade settings.
  • Adhere to state licensing requirements and professional certifications.
  • Manage a caseload of up to 60 students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs and progress.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on assessment results.
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as required.

Requirements

  • Must hold a current Washington State Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license.
  • Must hold a current Early Childhood Special Education (ESA) certification.
  • Open to candidates holding Clinical Fellowship (CF) status.
  • Must be available to work in-person at schools.
  • Must not exceed a caseload of 60 students.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current Washington State SLP license.
  • Current Early Childhood Special Education (ESA) certification.
  • Experience working with K-12th grade students.
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to special education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
