About the role
LanceSoft is seeking a School Services Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Spanaway, Washington.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students in K-12th grade settings.
- Adhere to state licensing requirements and professional certifications.
- Manage a caseload of up to 60 students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs and progress.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on assessment results.
- Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
Requirements
- Must hold a current Washington State Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license.
- Must hold a current Early Childhood Special Education (ESA) certification.
- Open to candidates holding Clinical Fellowship (CF) status.
- Must be available to work in-person at schools.
- Must not exceed a caseload of 60 students.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Washington State SLP license.
- Current Early Childhood Special Education (ESA) certification.
- Experience working with K-12th grade students.
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to special education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
