Travel School Services - Special Education Teacher - $2,314 per week

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to support students with disabilities across elementary and preschool programs. The Special Education Teacher will provide individualized instruction, develop and implement educational plans, and collaborate with school teams and families to promote student success.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction to students with disabilities based on individual learning needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to support diverse learning abilities.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, therapists, and families.
• Track student progress and maintain accurate educational documentation.
• Support a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
• Follow district policies, special education regulations, and compliance standards.

Requirements

• Active Washington State Special Education (SPED) Endorsement required.
• Previous experience working as a Special Education Teacher preferred.
• Experience supporting elementary and/or preschool students preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
• Required licenses and credentials must be in hand at submission or obtained prior to start date.
