About the role
AHS NurseStat is looking for a Long Term (Travel) Special Education Teacher School in St Paul, MN. This assignment lasts 42 weeks and is scheduled to start on 2026-08-17T00:00:00.0000000 and run through 2027-06-10T00:00:00.0000000. Contracted travel position will have the possibility of being extended.
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction to students with special needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with other educators, parents, and therapists to support student learning
- Evaluate student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
- Current teaching license in Minnesota
- Experience working with students with special educational needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of state and federal special education laws and regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in using technology for lesson planning and student assessment
Skills
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs
- Strong organizational and time management skills
