About the role
The School Psychologist will provide psychological assessments, consultation, and intervention services to students in the Columbia, SC area.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological evaluations and provide recommendations for educational interventions
- Provide consultation to teachers, parents, and administrators regarding student behavior and learning needs
- Implement evidence-based interventions and strategies to improve student outcomes
- Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Requirements
- Master's degree in Educational or School Psychology
- New graduates encouraged to apply!
Qualifications
- Licensure to practice as a School Psychologist in South Carolina
- Experience working with diverse populations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Skills
- Knowledge of child development and learning theories
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in using assessment tools and software
