Schedule

• Shift: Nights (19:00 - 07:30)
• 3 x 12-hour shifts per week

Responsibilities & Skills

• Aerosol set up (mask and trach)
• Albuterol administration
• BiPAP and CPAP management
• Cold aerosol therapy
• Hand-held nebulizer use
• Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
• Intubation assistance
• Medihaler and Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI) administration
• Nasal airway suctioning and oral/nasal suctioning
• NICU experience
• Nitric Oxide (INo) administration
• Sputum specimen collection
• CPAP/Nasal CPAP/BIPAP management
• Heated high-frequency oscillator and oscillating ventilator use
• Pediatric Critical Care
• Ultrasonic nebulizer use
• T-piece and trach collar management
• Tracheostomy care and management

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy
• Active certifications: BLS, PALS, RRT
