Travel RRT - NICU/PICU - $2,422 per week

About the role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for the NICU/PICU at Bristol-Myers Squibb Children's Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey. This is a 13-week contract starting November 16, 2026, with a night-shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours). You will provide respiratory care across the NICU, PICU, and pediatric emergency department, serving a diverse population from neonates to adolescents using advanced ventilation and therapy modalities.

Schedule

Night shift – 3×12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30), every other weekend required.

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor mechanical ventilation including BiPAP, CPAP, high-frequency jet and oscillatory ventilation.
• Provide airway and oxygen therapy along with emergency interventions such as intubation assist and extubation.
• Perform respiratory procedures including arterial punctures, drawing and interpreting arterial blood gases (ABGs).
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and interdepartmental neonatal transports.
• Utilize Epic for patient charting and documentation.
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as required.

Requirements

• Minimum 1.5 years of clinical experience in both NICU and PICU Level III settings.
• Active New Jersey license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Current certifications in BLS, NRP, and PALS.
