Schedule

• 13-week assignment
• Shift: Days, 3x 12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00)

Responsibilities & Skills

• Adult Critical Care
• Aerosol setup (mask and trach)
• Bag and mask ventilation
• BiPAP and CPAP management
• Chest Physiotherapy
• Drawing and interpreting arterial blood gases (ABGs)
• Extubation
• High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
• Medication administration (e.g., Lidocaine, Albuterol, Atrovent, Spiriva, Pulmicort, Racemic epinephrine, Xopenex, Mucomyst)
• Basic EKG interpretation
• Emergency Department and Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) experience
• ET tube and airway management (nasal/oral airway placement, tracheostomy care)
• Handheld nebulizer and Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI) administration
• Intubation assistance
• Nasal airway suctioning
• T-piece and trach collar management
• Troubleshooting high-pressure alarms
• Ultrasonic nebulizer use
• Weaning from mechanical ventilation
• Pneumonia care
• Aspiration procedures

Requirements

• 1 year of experience
• Certifications: PALS, RRT, ACLS, BLS
• Charting System: Epic (experience required)

• Patient Ratios: 1:2 (nights and weekends)
