About the Role

• 13-week assignment with night shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
• 1 opening available; start date: 10/05/2026
• Charting system: Cerner

Responsibilities & Skills

• Aerosol setup (mask and trach)
• Emergency Department procedures
• Extubation and weaning from mechanical ventilation (T-piece, trach collar)
• Hand-held nebulizer administration (Albuterol, Atrovent, Mucomyst, Pulmicort, Tobramycin, racemic epinephrine)
• High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) management
• Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
• Non-invasive ventilation (BiPAP, CPAP, CPAP/Nasal CPAP/BiPAP, heated systems)
• Airway management (nasal/oral airway placement, suctioning)
• Sputum specimen collection
• Tracheostomy care and troubleshooting high-pressure alarms
• Adult Critical Care experience

Requirements

• 1 year of experience
• Active BLS, RRT, and ACLS certifications
• Travel experience required

Facility Details

• Type: Acute Care Hospital (156 beds)
• Patient ratios: 2-3 patients per therapist on nights
• Weekend shifts: 2-3 per assignment

Pay

$1,711 to $1,916 weekly (includes taxable wages and tax-free expense reimbursements).
