About the role

Aya Healthcare is seeking a Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics professional to join their team in North Providence, RI.

Responsibilities

  • Perform respiratory and neuro diagnostic procedures under supervision.
  • Interpret arterial blood gas (ABG) results and provide appropriate interventions.
  • Set up and troubleshoot aerosol devices such as masks and trachs.
  • Operate and maintain equipment including BiPAP, emergency department tools, and suctioning devices.
  • Assist with patient care, including administering medications like Medihaler and MDI.
  • Troubleshoot and manage high-pressure alarms related to ventilators.
  • Wean patients from mechanical ventilation as necessary.
  • Document patient care activities accurately using Meditech charting system.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, CRT.
  • Knowledge of adult critical care, aerosol set up, suctioning techniques, and troubleshooting high pressure alarms.
  • Experience with interpreting ABGs and managing ventilator settings.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $2,004.00 to $2,230.92 weekly.

Schedule

This assignment will be 3x12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:00.
